Case Study: Read With Me Series

Their challenge:

Age of Learning, a leading education technology provider, had developed a new digital story series for their ABCmouse Read With Me preschool program, featuring characters of diverse heritages and customs. They needed highly engaging artwork to be created that could be animated to accompany the voice-over narration, affirmed the cultural identities of the characters in the stories, and aligned with the company’s longstanding mission of helping all children build strong foundations for academic success and a lifelong love of learning.

How Westchester Helped:

The art and design team at Westchester Education Services used the callout information provided in the client’s manuscript to develop artwork that was culturally relevant and could be animated to deliver an engaging experience for young children. The team collaborated with the client’s project director and post production team to fully understand the layering requirements for the illustrations in these reading materials and delivered exactly what was needed to make the books truly “come to life” in the videos.

The Outcome:

The client was extremely pleased with the artwork that Westchester Education Services created, stating: “We value our partnership with Westchester Education Services and the quality content they create for Age of Learning.” The client has also engaged the Westchester team to provide illustrative content for their Heritage Highlights series.
